A basics workshop on the North East coast covering composition, Use of filters and the creative use of aperture and shutter speed.

For the sunrise session we’ll meet 45 mins prior to sunrise so we can discuss recommended settings and get set up with our compositions. We’ll break briefly after sunrise to discuss the first session and then continue shooting until around 11am where we’ll have a final chat to go over the mornings images and answer any further questions.

For sunset sessions we’ll meet at around 12:45pm and shoot until sunset. We’ll have a brief chat about settings then get straight into it. We’ll end the day shooting the sunset with St Marys Lighthouse as a backdrop.

Your camera and a tripod are a must, and if you have filters bring them too. Recommended lenses are a wide angle (16mm ish equivalent) as well as a mid range zoom.
