Astro mini workshop

Price – £50 per person (maximum of 3)

 

A 2/3 hour mini workshop to photograph the stars, milky way and if we’re lucky, the elusive Aurora Borealis.

We’ll meet at either Bamburgh, Howick, Craster (this involves a 1m walk to Dunstanburgh Castle) , Hadrians Wall or St Marys Lighthouse. We’ll then spend a couple of hours photographing the night sky, incorporating some foreground interest too.

You’ll need warm clothing – I’d recommend thermals as well as a fleece, hat, gloves, walking boots and a torch. It gets cold standing around so I usually take a flask of tea too!

IMPORTANT : These workshops are very weather dependent as we need clear skies and ideally a new moon (no moon visible) although the latter is not a necessity. Please bear this in mind as we may need to reschedule at short notice to get the best conditions!
